We collect what we need to send a plumber to the right address, and we share it with the plumber going there. This page sets out the whole arrangement in plain language.

Orange CA Plumbing Line ("we", "us") operates orangecaplumbingline.com and a telephone referral service that connects homeowners in Orange, California with independent licensed plumbing professionals. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you call, we typically take your name, phone number, service address and a description of the plumbing problem. If you ask us to follow up, we may also take an email address. We do not ask for payment information at any point, because we do not process payments; you pay the plumber directly.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages people actually find useful.
Calls
Calls to our number may be monitored or recorded for quality and training purposes. If a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of it, and you may ask for recording to stop.
How we use it
- To understand your problem and route it to an appropriate plumbing professional.
- To pass your address and job details to that professional so they can contact and reach you.
- To follow up on the outcome, including handling a complaint about a referral.
- To maintain and improve the website.
- To comply with law, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
Who we share it with
The main disclosure to understand: to do the one thing this service exists to do, we give your name, contact number, service address and job description to the independent plumbing professional we refer you to. Once they hold that information they are an independent business handling it under their own privacy practices, not ours.
Beyond that, we share personal information only with service providers who operate parts of our business on our behalf, such as web hosting, call handling and analytics, and only to the extent they need it. We also disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful government request, and where necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember display preferences and to gather aggregate analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to function. Most browsers also offer a Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track" signal, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where we receive them.
How long we keep it
Call and referral records are kept for as long as needed to handle any follow-up or dispute about the referral, and then for as long as required by law or by our insurer, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Website analytics are retained in aggregate form.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we have used and disclosed it, the right to request deletion of it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we neither sell personal information nor share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is no opt-out to exercise on that front.
To make a request, call us at (714) 804-0063. We will verify your identity by asking for information matching what we already hold, and we will respond within the time frame the law requires. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for proof of their authority.
Children
This service is intended for adults arranging work on property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, call us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be summarised here so you can see what moved.
